CPU Graphics and Video Card

I'm purchasing a new Intel Core i5 Ivy with Intel Graphics 4000, but already own a brand newish Radeon HD7950. Just want to make sure I can use the card instead of the integrated graphics.

Sure, just connect your monitor to the card itself and not the motherboard.
