Zotac GTX 660 ti or Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 vapor-x?

I am looking for a new graphics card and have come down to the options mentioned above(they are the only ones in my budget available in my city anyway). Now I think the Radeon is a better performer, but it costs $450 and the GTX 660 ti costs just $340.( I don't know why, they are supposed to be in the same price range). I will be gaming at 1920x1080 and in hope to use the card for at least 2-3 years. I could extend my GPU budget to $450, but I don't think it's worth it. I will also get an i5 3550 processor. So if I get the GTX, in could use the extra cash to get an i7... What do you guys think? Also I don't live in the USA, so newegg is not an option.

  1. Skip the i7 unless hyper-threading is a big selling point for you. Snag an i5 3570k and you can easily overclock it to 4.0-4.5 on stock volts.

If you like to play on max settings with lots of AA, the 7950 might be the better choice for you. If you can pass on the AA, then go for the 660ti and pick up the 3570k.
  2. Try NCIX, I think they ship international.
