I have following configuration
motherboard: microatx simm-g31e(k)
Hard drive : 500gb samsung + 80gb seagate
ram : 3gb ddr2
Cpu: e5700
Dvd drive: 1xdvd drive
gpu : gt 240 1gb ddr3
os: windows 8
Psu :seasonic ss400bt 400w

i want to play at 128x1024 now and 1920x1080 next year

which card is good for both resolutions

also 1gb vram or 2gb

The gtx 650 ti 2gb is better for the higher resoltution but they are overpriced and for a bit more you could get a gtx 650 ti boost. Also better upgrade your processor since it is very old and not powerful.
