Windows 7 over 8: Hangs at "Starting Windows"

Heya guys,

I am trying to install Windows 7 Pro 64-bit over Windows 8 on my newly purchased Acer Aspire M5-581 laptop, BUT it hangs at Starting Windows screen.

What could be a problem?
Where to look for or what to adjust?

Did you do a clean install by deleting the Windows 8 partition and installing Windows 7 on that same unallocated space?

If it's stuck, chances are it didn't complete the installation process and needs to be reinstalled.

Solution to this was just around a corner. In BIOS I did:

1. Disable Secured Boot
2. Change UEFI to Legacy BIOS for Boot Mode.

That did the trick!
