7970 Crossfire Question (Eyefinity Setup)

Hey Guys.

I'm planning on putting two 7970 cards in my system, and i'm well aware all three monitors must run off the top card. So my question is, my monitors aren't DP compatiable, so i'd run the two outer ones on DVI and the middle one on a displayport to DVI adapter (and run that one on DVI).

So my question is, with all this talk of passive adapters and such, what is the best adapter for my needs?

That adapter should work just fine.

Can't say that I have ever used/or seen an active DP adapter that required external power.
