All thoughts are welcomed and encouraged. This is my first build and has been a lot of fun thus far!

Approximate Purchase Date: The next three weeks, I already have the mobo and RAM.

Budget Range: 800-900

System Usage from Most to Least Important: audio production/engineering, gaming

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Microcenter ( I live within 10 minutes of one) and Newegg.com for bargain prices.

Country: U.S.

Parts Preferences:
Processor: i7-3770k
Mobo: MSI Z77A-GD65 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130643
Hard drive: WD Blue series 1TB 6Gb/s
RAM:Team Vulcan 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600
GPU: MSI GEFORCE GTX 650 TI 1GB
PSU: CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650
CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 plus
Case: Cooler Master Storm Enforcer
Overclocking: Yes, just not right now. Baby steps ha!

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe at some point

Monitor Resolution: I'll be using my LCD HD 1080P tv for now, but can purchase a monitor later.

Additional Comments: I want to build a system that is upgradeable for some time. I maxed out the processor to take advantage of hyper-threading as it becomes more common and because it will help with rendering and Cubase 7. I'm not sure if the WD Blue is the best option but some folks have said there is little to no difference in speeds that is actually noticeable.

Got everything right... and people were right regarding HDD speeds... not much of a difference nowadays.

But I have a question...

Are you a gamer? (because that card may not cut 60 fps at Full HD)

I'm not a hardcore gamer, but as funds become available I will probably upgrade. I gravitate more to the strategy genres like civ 5, Fallen Enchantress and the like. The craziest I'll probably get on the system is something like Skyrim. I'm actually thinking about the gtx 660 now, as newegg has it for 174 after mail in rebate.

Thoughts?
