<tinfoil>
1. You are providing FB, TW, and TH even more info about you than they already know. What they do with that, you have no influence over.
2. If you ever to decide to leave FB, what happens to your linked Tom's account login?

What I actually want to know is if by connecting those accounts, any information from them will appears here in TH -- and if my information from TH will appears in FB and TW.

Good question!

We're assembling your demographic profile culled from your Facebook likes and building out a concisely targeted ad-platform customized to suit your particular tastes and predilections. We're combing over your private, personal images for any trace of your consumer habits that we can effectively package to our branded partners. We see you have an affinity for Rosewill products and Dr. Pepper. Good... good.
</sarcasm>

Seriously though, we're not doing any of that stuff. It's just a quick way to hook yourself up to the social share stuff here on the forums and with articles. At this point in time, we're just using the social media logins as faster ways of confirming your email account is a real one. In terms of actual privacy concerns, there have been a few users who have inadvertently registered here on Tom's with their full real names as a result of using the social registration function and not assigning a nickname. Using your real name is fine (I do), but users might want the anonymity of a nickname instead. Apart from that, it's just what you want to share and to whom when you do so manually using some of the share functions.
