ASUS mobo & EVGA gpu?!

So Im kind of new to building a PC and was wondering if i got an ASUS motherboard (rampage IV extreme) would an EVGA gtx graphics (680 4GB classified) drive be compatible?

Yes, it'll work perfectly.
Just a few points:
Make sure the power supply is up to the job: Enough Wattage and PCI-E connectors to feed the card, and do n't get a cheap, no name unit, they're cheap for a reason, stick with Corsair, Antec, Silverstone, Seasonic, FSP or OCZ.
