Brand new blank PC, wont install operating system HELP

Just purchased a brand new blank PC and tried to install windows 7 64 bit after seeing the screen telling me to: "Reboot and Select proper Boot Device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" I have tried numerous times to install by rebooting but to no avail. Any ideas anyone?
Thanks

Hello, I have found RAID mode in the BIOS and it says it's in IDE mode, there are three options: IDE, RAID, ACHI.
Do I need to change to ACHI?
    Thanks
  3. *UPDATE* Changed to ACHI in the RAID settings, nothings changed apart from the fact it now says: "No bootable devices, press any key to reset" I've checked the BOOT options area also and there are no settings to change default boot location ie. USB, CDROM, HDD etc...
