Main bios checksum error help

i think i messed up on 2 occassions. turned the psu switch on and off cuz i couldn't get my computer to come out of sleep. checksum error loading screen came up. then went black for a bit, good 5 minutes, and nothing happened. so i restarted again. now nothing shows up.

did some research on how i could get the bios to come up, took out the battery, unplugged the cpu for 15 minutes. put them back in, but still nothing. is there another way to get to the bios to attempt an update? or is it time for a new motherboard? i hope not cuz its not even a year old yet -.-

Hi, What motherboard? Do the CPU and case fans spin when starting the board? Does the DVD drive show activity?

thanks alexoiu for the reply. I ended up taking the computer to my friends house and trying all of my parts on his computer to make sure all were functioning correctly. We concluded that the motherboard was dead. Bought the Asus Sabertooth 990fx R2.0. and im very happy with my upgrade.
