I recommend the asrock extreme4. It's got tons of features and has a great price point. There are many similar boards in that price range, but the most important thing is that it's z77, otherwise there's no point to getting an unlocked cpu.

What is the entire parts list and what is the pc for? If it's just for gaming, get the 3570k instead and save $100. i7's aren't for gaming, so it's not worth it.

How old is the PSU? if you used it for 5-6 years with the old motherboard and CPU I recommend in buying a new one.
If so go for an 80 plus bronze certificate the least.
Imo the Asus P8Z77-V LX2 would be a good choice for your i7 CPU.
It comes with the Z77 chipset, Intel smart response technology, Intel smart connect, Intel rapid start and its PCI 3.0 ready.
