I am looking for a graphics card that will run most games at modest settings, but won't need me to upgrade my power supply. Will the 660TI run on this? I was think of spending around £180.

Specs
Spoiler
CPU Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00GHZ
MOBO Dell 0M017G
GRAPHICS eVGA GT630 1GB
RAM 4 x DDR2 1GB (Not sure about the brand)
PSU Zalman 450GS
CASE Zalman Z11 Plus
HDD WD 466GB (I think it is blue)

I know my system is old, please don't tell me to build a new one, I don't have the money.
a b ) Power supply
a b U Graphics card

450w power supply is recommended as the minimum. What brand is your ps, and what is the 12v rating in amps for each rail?

E8400 is a still decent performer and your psu should be enough for 660Ti. Keep in mind that you'd have to oc the cpu otherwise it will bottleneck the gpu and as far I'm aware you cannot oc using your mobo. If you're not planning on changing your cpu or mobo anytime soon I'd suggest something else like 650Ti Boost or 7850.

Thanks, I am planning on upgrading to the FX8350 soon so I won't have the bottleneck for long.

Then you can grab 660Ti without any problems, you'll still notice difference in the performance compared to your current gpu.

You will also need to change your motherboard to get the FX8350 because that is an AMD chip.
