hello!! i never tried OC before, but i read a lot of thread in the web about overclocking the phenom ii 960T, using a asus m5a78L-M LE mobo by revising the bios. i just want to try in my new built gaming machine, though i am using a sub standard 500w PSU i have read that it may cause a problem when overclocking 960t using this kind of psu, can anyone recommend me a good psu for overclocking 960t?! and any processor cooling fan that will cost around 50 bucks and also for psu..thnX

and my specs
amd phenom ii x4 960T
asus m5a78L-M LE
320 gb hdd western digital caviar blue
corsair 4g 1333mhz http://www.corsair.com/memory-by-product-family/value-select-memory-upgrades/cmv4gx3m1a1333c9.html

thnX..

The "best" is very subjective. IMHO, consider the Hyper 212 EVO for a CPU cooler ($35) and a quality power supply from either Antec, XFX, Seasonic or Corsair. There are other options out there for power supplies, but these are often regarded as the manufacturers to go with. Not sure what you have in regards to a GPU, but 500w should be a good size for you unless you have a large graphics in the mix.

The issue with using a new PSU is to account for modern protection and ensure you are getting your rated output. Your existing PSU may be just fine, but since you readily admit is a sub standard it is probably time for a swap.
