Hey all,
Upgrading my rig and I need some opinions :>
The 670 4gb and 680 2gb are about the same price it seems so I need to know which to get. I have a couple criteria to follow:
1. I use two monitors at 1080p, but only game on one monitor. The second monitor is used for stuff like skype, facebook, stuff like that.
2. I need futureproof for at least a couple years.
If using two monitors, but not for rendering a game on both monitors, should I get the 4gb vram, or is the more vram really only useful if you render graphics across multiple monitors?
Also I was thinking about the 670 vs 680 both 2gb versions. Would a EVGA GTX 670 FTW @ 2gb vram be a better choice than the 680?
Anyway any help would be great
EDIT: forgot to mention I will be playing games like Far Cry 3, Star Citizen/Squadron 42, Battlefield 4, Skyrim with lots of mods and stuff, you know, games that take a great comp to run with good frames
