Linksys AE1000 won't work with Actiontec Wireless Broadband Router please help

We just switched ISPs from Comcast to Verizon yesterday and I was a bit skeptical about it because you see when we were with Comcast we used a router to get a wireless connection to the Internet. Now when we finally got the broadband/wireless router I ask the that will my Cisco Linksys AE 1000 will work with the broadband/wireless router, I just try it today it did work I kept getting the message "security key mismatch" I don't know what that means but I know I didn't connect to the broadband/router. Is there anything I can do to get this adapter running?

No I'm not typing the password wrong the technician said that I should type all the letters in caps, I even tried typing it in lowercase that still didn't work.
