Hi Everyone,

I'm gonna build a new system this weekend and I'm still undecided about what processor to go with.

The initial specification had Intel DH61WW motherboard but due to its limitations, I've decided to go with DH77KC.

The processor in the spec is Intel Pentium G2020 and it's within my budget.

Though i3 3220 is exceeding my budget, do you think it's worth going over the limit rather than sticking with G2020?

Additionally, I'm a heavy user and software development, graphic designing, video editing and some gaming is in my list of activities.

Thanks in advance :)

i5 is what you need but i3 is all you can afford then go for it. Its got 400mhz and 2 hyperthreaded cores advantage over the g2020. You'll need the cores for most of what you do.

Thank you for answer mate :)  I wasn't thinking about i5. Do you have any suggestions if I go for i5 or it's just any i5 processor is alright?
