Technically a Hackintosh is illegial: http://www.lockergnome.com/osx/2012/02/24/are-hackintosh-computers-legal/

I know, it's stupid but read through that article on why it could be bad. It's pretty much the same as downloading music illegally. You are pretty much on your own with dealing with it. Not to mention it is a lot of work to get the OS to function well with the hardware.

My suggestion.. don't get into the whole hackintosh thing.. it really isn't worth it.

Your best choice for OS's are Linux: http://www.linux.com/ Windows 7 or Windows 8. Learn all you can about those.

Those people are delusional Apple diehards. Photoshop is just as powerfull on Windows as it is on Mac.

It doesn't matter or shouldn't matter anyway. Just go for a good PC build for performance and Windows will do just fine with Adobe/Photoshop. You can get the same or similar (if not better) performance from a good PC build as a Mac.
