So my processor is extremely bad, and bottlenecks my hd 7950 pretty badly. Now, I just want to have an average fps of around 60,so what should I get? I can switch to Intel, but I just want to make sure an FX 6300 or 4300 or anything Amd will work before I switch or buy something else.

Current setup
Phenom ii x4 3.2 ghz quad
Hd 7950
Biostar A880gz mobo
400w sparkle psu
8gb ddr3 1333 ram.

So give me some suggestions, and also, will a Thermaltake 600w psu be enough power if I buy it? My old one died and I had to use my 400w

imo fx6300 would not be any better than overclocking your phenom. better to spend the extra on an 8320/50. you will still find some games dropping below 30fps at times though. even with the best cpu available its unavoidable to get an fps dip occasionally. get that 400w sparkle psu out of there before you blow it up, your components are pulling more than it can handle. stick to good brands like antec, seasonic, xfx, corsair. the only good thermaltake psu is the Toughpower line, but they aren't very good value.
