Recommendation for PSUs

I own a Cooler Master 500W PSU.

Now I'm planning on investing for a AMD FX-8300 (the one with 95W TDP) and a radeon HD7850 2GB. Won't OC my system. Is it necessary to get a new PSU?

My motherboard is Asus M5A785L-M LX PLUS (AM3+/125W CPU support/max. 16GB RAM), with 2 x 4GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM, 1 regular SATA HDD, a SAT DVD-RAM drive, a 1GB DDR3 Radeon HD6670 and a dual core 3.2 GHz AMD Athlon II CPU. For cooling, I got 3 120mm Cooler Master fans and 1 80mm LED fan, all in a Cooler master 690 advanced chassis.

Now, I am aware of the online PSU calculators, but they are showing the same power supply requirement for FX-8300 and other 8-core processors with 125W TDP. Also, I can't quite get the capacitor aging part.

Not necessary, though I would recommend getting a PSU from a more reputed manufacturer such as Antec, Corsair, PC Power & Cooling, Seasonic, or XFX.

I agree , just change out the PSU for a more reliable and stable brand.
