Asus Xonar DG, will it control the audio in the HDMI connecter

Asus Xonar DG, will it control the audio in the HDMI connector? I just installed this board and on the "sound", "Recording" tab in the control panel Stereo mix reports "Asus Xonar DG Audio Device is currently unavailable". Can I make it available?

You should be able to control it, check you driver.

I tried installing the Uni Xonar driver package with the same result.
