Computer constantly freezes during gameplay!

Hello, I recently built a new computer. This is my first build. Its been working fine up until now. I have been experiencing constant freezing. It will be while im playing or pause it come back and its frozen. I'll have to alt tab and start the game back up and lose progress and work back to where i was. Please help, i tried updating all my drivers. updating games. i dont know what else it could be.

I think i may have found the solution. I did a bios flash back then re-updated, as of now things are running smoothly. i wanted to keep this thread open just in case if things should arise again in the next few days. Thanks for the reply, and i wasn't sure where to post this thread at.
