What would GPUs so without the 6 pin connector?

Say I didn't plug in the 6 pin connector (Or the GTX 8 pin), would the gpu output anything? Would it be distorted? Would it work perfectly? I'm just curious.

no it will not work at all.gpu needs 6pin to get power.i will not suggest to plug gpu without attaching 6pin connector because it can also damage your gpu.
