Ok, so a while back I posted a question on the Systems part of the forum and no one answered it. It slowly disappeared into the archives and I still haven't received an answer.
I did bump it, as I didn't remember the rules...

And a mod deleted my bump and reminded me...

So what am I supposed to do, if I can't bump, and no one will see my question anymore, I will never get an answer.

If your thread falls beyond the second page or so, just make another.

Usually if you don't get a response its because your post is constructed in such a way that turns people off responding. A lot of the time its lack of info or bad formatting (massive blocks of text rarely get responses), yours seems fine, could be more detailed though.

Reword and repost. Sometimes posting on a forum is like fishing. You have to bait the hook appropriately to lure responses. This means ensuring the title is spelled and worded correctly and eye-catching, without using all caps and jarring punctuation. It means detailing as much as you can, and soliciting for responses.

It would also be useful to notify a mod to get the original thread closed or deleted as it may still be answered just not in the timeframe that you may have wanted.
