Possible use for HIS HD 7750 2GB DDR3 Card in HTPC

I was given a HIS 7750 HD 2GB DDR3 video card. I'm already running a GTX 680 card in my gaming rig. I was wondering if the HIS card is good enough to use in a htpc? I'm build an htpc using the integrated graphics from an i3-3220 and I would like to know if the HIS card is a step up from the integrated graphics?

Absolutely. The integrated HD 2500 is pale in comparison. The HD 7750 is much faster GPU, won't share system memory, and does not require to be powered (like other discrete GPUs). Check out the hierarchy for more info (then page 2 if you like).
