You should never get a reference card unless its absolutely good. The GTX series reference cards in terms of performance are the same really as any other, but the fan and cover on it retain more heat than other companies. I would get it as long as your doing Water Cooling. If not, then I'll be right back with a couple of options.

Newegg:

MSI GTX 670 2GB $390

GIGABYTE GTX 670 2GB $400

Galaxy GTX 670 GC (OCed) 2GB $410

TigerDirect:

Asus GeForce GTX 670 2GB $390 (Rebate Ends 5/31) (Asus is a great company)

Galaxy GTX 670 GC (OCed) 2GB $390 (Recommended) (Rebate Ends 5/19) (Also a Great company)

Galaxy GTX 670 GC (OCed) 4GB $430 (4GB is a little extra, but good for single card use and future proof for games that take up more VRAM) (Rebate Ends 5/19)

If your willing to spend a little more, I'm getting the GTX 680 GC 4GB which right now is $510, the 2gb edition is $530 simply because of the Rebate. I would hurry and get it. Rebate Ends 5/19

I don't know if hes water cooling them, so i just gave him options. Plus different companies do different things with the cards. Some benefit. I.e There was an Asus card I just looked at for about the same price as a Zotac, but the Asus had almost 100+ clock on both core and memory.

Your getting a 7990... Okay well if you really want to. I'd rather not get it really because, yes it is probably amazing, but there are a few things it lacks compared to other AMD cards and Nvidia cards. And for $1100 off the market, not very much worth it. If it were to drop anywhere below $800 I would definitely get it.
