I am using a $1,500ish budget for a new desktop. I am NOT building it myself (maybe in the future) but I decided to go to a site where I can customized my own. I found this site called eCollegePC that seems pretty good in terms of parts and price. I am a complete amateur and this would be only my second desktop bought (first one was purely for basic use, though I play emulators and GH3 with 3DAnalyze) so I am far from certain about this. I will list a build that I already configured on the site:

Processor: i5-3570K 3.4GHz 6MB Cache Quad-Core
CPU Cooling: Corsair H60 120mm Water Cooler
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z77-HD4 (Intel Z77, 2xPCI-E, 6xSATA, 4DDR3)
Memory: 8GB (2x4GB) Corsair Vengeance 12800 DDR3 1600Mhz
Primary Hard Drive: 60GB OCZ Agility 3 SATA3 SSD
Secondary Hard Drive: 1TB Western Digital Caviar Black 7200RPM 64MB Cache SATA3 6Gbps
Media Drive: 24X LG SATA Dual Layer DVD burner/player
Video Card: 2GB Geforce GTX 660Ti GDDR5 PCI-E Dual DVI/HDMI
OS: Windows 8 Premium 64 Bit
Case: Corsair Black Carbide Series 500R (4 5.25, 6 3.5) 4 fans, Audio/USB3.0
Power Supply: 650watt Corsair CMPSU-650TX V2 80 PLUS Certified
Networking: Onboard LAN
Sound: Onboard Sound
Expansions: Internal All in 1 Card reader
Case Fans: 2x 120mm Case Fan
Lighting: Green Neon Light

Add in cable management for maximum airflow and 3 year warranty + Two year hassle free pickup and return it comes out to be $1,496 without taxes. A 5% discount makes it $1,421.20 without taxes. Good/Bad build for a good/bad price?
