I just built my computer and I'm super new at all of this so I honestly have NO idea whats going on.. I can play a game for about 3 to 4 mins max and my system crashes and goes black with buzzing and I'm forced to restart. I fear I'm hurting my system and I really need help..

My specs I know of are:

ASUS GTX660 TI-DC2O-2GD5 GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Thermaltake TR2 700W Power Supply

GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD4H LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I53570K

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL

PLEASE HELP!

No, not at all. I think I solved it for now though. Ive manually turn my GPU fan speed to 88% and kept it there and it seemed to fix it. But im worried doing this will lower its life expectancy.. Might just return it and get it from another supplier my friend said ASUS isnt that great when it comes to tower parts.

Splendid
Your friend is sadly mistake asus makes great "tower parts". My asus direct cu 2 gtx 660 stays at 30 degrees celcius with the fan running at 40%. I would suspect your case's ventilation is poor. But it could also be a defective card wich happens with every brand time to time. Shipping can create this aswell its hard to say but i would look into your case's cooling
