CPU : AMD Phenom II X4 955 Processor
MB : Asus M4A79XTD EVO
GPU : Radeon HD 6870
RAM : 4096 MB DDR3 Single Channel
HD : 2TB
PSU : 500w

I have been told on several occasions that the root of all my problems is my poorly designed motherboard. I want to experiment with this advice and get a better one to see. What does the community suggest for my current build? I would like to stay in between $70 - $120 US, but no suggestion will be mocked :) Thank you

I'm reading some reviews on this board and there seems to be a recurring theme of the onboard sound not working at all for some. I don't know about it, what has been your experience

I wound up getting the GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard. It works great but did not fix my problem so I wound up replacing my motherboard for no reason. My video card was just bad
