EVGA 660 TI 3GB FTW or EVGA 670 2GB FTW

I am trying to decide between getting the EVGA 660 TI 3GB FTW or EVGA 670 2GB. I was reading that the 660 TI 3GB FTW beats the vanilla 670 in some benchmarks, is that true? When I compare both on EVGA's web site the 660 TI beats the 670 in every category except for the memory bandwidth.

I'd only be playing at 1080p on a single HDTV. My 560 2GB is starting to feel like its not up to par with the newer releases.

Any thoughts or advice would be great.

You can OC both of these cards, but the 670 will always beat out the 660 ti on speed and bandwidth. The big issue is are the games you play more memory hungry or speed hungry?

Ignore vanilla benchmarks if you are wiling to OC the video.

My brother was telling me to also look into a 7970 for the price too since its a great card. I've never owned an AMD card before.
