Display driver AMD driver stopped responding and has recovered, Blue screen

I believe my display driver for my Gigabyte Radeon HD 6670 is not fuctioning properly.

I have been reciving a message stating "Display driver AMD driver stopped responding and has recovered", a few seconds latter I get the blue screen of death.

I have tried updating the driver by visiting the AMD site, but the installer always crashes when I run the program, and once again I get the blue screen.


If the problem is with my display driver, my question is how can I update my driver without having the installer crash?

You might have broken files in your AMD driver directory. Try to do a clean install of the drivers.

If that doesn't work, i have alot more solutions

I have the same problem too, I have AMD Radeon HD 6670 and I got same error. I tried clean install of the graphic driversa and also bought new PSU, but still, I ovtain stopped working and has recovered error.

Have you OC'ed your card?
and if you have or not downclock or overvolt your card
