Any help would be very, very appreciated. I'm comfortable with either buying a pre-built PC or making my own (though, I fear I'd mess that up pretty bad).

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: Sometime this month.

Budget Range: $950

System Usage: Gaming, surfing the web, streaming movies for friends, general nerd usage.

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: I am in need an entirely new system.

Do you need to buy OS: Yes, I suppose so. Preferably Windows 7

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg, microcenter

Location: St. Paul, Minnesota, USA

Parts Preferences: Whatever works best.

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Your Monitor Resolution: 1680x1050, dual monitors. I typically use one monitor for gaming and the other for relevant info for the game, Skype, music player, etc.

Additional Comments: Needs to have a simplistic case - no insane bells and whistles. Will be using this to run games for the next several years, so the ability to upgrade is important.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Need a better gaming PC; going to sell the old one.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once again, thank you so much for any help that you can provide. This seems to be a really helpful, knowledgeable community.
