Greetings, first post so go easy on me.

I am a poor ol' college student and have managed to save up enough money to build myself a good rig. I am looking to spend roughly up to $1600 and want to make it a killer top end rig that will last me many years. I also am sick of lots of noise and dealing with heat issues etc. I'm looking for opinions on what I have so far, and suggestions for fans or other cooling alternatives to increase airflow and reduce vibration/rattle.

The list of parts I have so far are as follows:

Not sure if there is a better way to link that. Anywho I'm obviously missing stuff like fans and maybe some thermal paste etc. I also have a 60gb SSD drive that I'm going to use as my primary OS drive, the other one is just for mass storage.

Well thanks in advance for any thoughts!

the 7970 ghz edition is faster than a 680 http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-car...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... thats a good 7970.(The sapphire vapor-x is out of stock D:)

your cpu is fine.Your psu is fine. If your going to be recording or hardcore gaming by any chance id go with a 1tb hdd.Your dvd burner is fine. That motherboard is awesome. That case looks a bit small in my opinion http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... that is a good case for 10 dollars more.Ram looks good. I thought u need a 128 gb ssd for windows
