Im upgrading my pc. Im buying a mobo with 24pin plug. my psu have 20+4 pin header.

In my old mobo there was 24pin plug too, but there was plugged only 20pin and it worked perfectly.

The question is: should i use only 20pins or should i plug 24pin and why?

And the motherboard im buying is ASUS P8B75-M

Thanks

It would help also knowing what power supply you have and what graphics card you'll use.

Does the power supply have a 4-pin EATX cable?

Yes, there is separate 4pin EATX cable for cpu power

Those additional 4pins are attaching and detaching from those 20pins.

On my old system it was working properly with 20pins. But in some games, framerates was a little bit weird. I think because the gpu hasnt got any power connectors, so it was draining power from the mobo and with only 20pins connected gpu wasnt powered well. Is it right?

Hard to say. I suggest testing firstly the system with the old PSU and if experiencing issues then buying a new PSU. Or, if the budget allows it...
