why won't wifi display light show on acer aspire

Probably driver related. I have a Dell and the light will be on or off depending on what driver I have (sometimes the light is on when the wifi switch is off). Get the latest driver, and if the light doesn't work, who cares? Just as long as the wifi itself is working, I wouldn't put much time or thought into the LED...
