Hi its just saying no signal when i insert cable.

Cookie, when you connect your laptop to your TV via HDMI, you should change the source on your TV. Depending on how many inputs you have (HDMI 1 / HDMI 2 / Video 1 / Video 2 / VGA) you should change your TV source to that input port.

I have done this but its not working still!!! Will my tv not be compatible to it???

Have you tried a different HDMI cable, or used that cable on another device? Just to make sure there's nothing wrong with the cable. Also, do you have another TV to try and hook up your laptop to it?
