Philips Brilliance 272P4QPJKEB vs ASUS PB278Q? IPS vs PLS??

Personally, I like the physical look of the ASUS better, though the Philips is PLS while the ASUS is IPS. I hear PLS is better and newer. Is the difference that big between these panel types? Also, the Phillips is equipped with a usb 2.0 hub (3x) which I don't really need and a 2.0 mpx camera, which is pretty impressive since these two monitors cost the same on the site I am buying from.

Anyone have an idea which one to get?

From everything I've read, the difference between PLS and IPS is minimal.

That being said, further investigation seems to point at the ASUS PB278Q being a PLS panel as well. So take your pick.

Wow, that is great! Where did you read that? Because every single site I've seen says it's IPS
