Problem with entering internet with asus p8z77-m

I just finished building my computer using asus p8z77-m, but i cant get to internet? (I have a legit windows 7) The internet works fine with my laptop, and with my new builded computer the light on the internet cable gets orange when i have the internet cable plugged in. I dont know if i have my settings in bios okay?

Is there a router involved with MAC filter enabled?
Right click the network icon and choose Troubleshoot problems.

I tried it, but it doesn't give me any help.

I'm having exactly the same problem. i have just completed a new pc build and cannot access the internet.. Have you found a solution?

probably need to log into the router and allow the new machine to access the internet

http://192.168.0.1/

or similar

set up access list or similar - you should see the machine on the list
