Cpu: phenom II x2 550be
Mobo: MSI 770 c-45
GPU:Gtx 460 768Mb oced from stock 725 core to 890,from stock 900memory to 1000mhz..
Ram 2gb ddr2(i will updat wich brands is it,something ex...)
Psu: sf550p14p,have at least 2-3years

SO i unlocked the cp just fine everything is stable w/o any problems, but when i try to oc the cpu to 3.6 after 10 min in 3dmark in just shut down, and the led by the hdd readeing/writing led, is just flashing and I cant turn on the pc , the only way is to plug it out from the wall and wait thatthe whole pc empty the elect...
I dont need to pump the voltage any higher from stock, 1.35-1.367 is enought ,and it can pass prime 95 1hour test, but in 3dmark 10 min and my pc shut down.. i tried 3.2 and raised my gpu clocks(because its lowered,to 920 and 1110 and still shut down) is this Psu problem or something else? I tried watching my temps with fanspeed, or hwmonitor and someone told me to watch temp1, its never go past 57 with stok cooler, but from 40C to 50C its need 5 sec if i start prime... any suggestion, should i change the psu r something else is the problem??

Please, its not the gpu.. i used it on 920/2220 every day with athlon x4 630 and there was never any problem, heaven benchmark 5+ hours, without any errors,or artifacts... Btw i dont know why the led is flashing and why i cant turn on the pc again... In hwmonitor temp1is what I need to check? And if the cpu is unlocked does the bios still shutit down before overheating?

Well, you're getting it on 3D Mark, so, logically it's the GPU, which could be because of a bad power supply.

What tests are you running in Prime95?

And it very well could be the power supply. It's old and low quality.

3d marks use both cpu and gpu :D..
And i dont think its ram because its on stock..gpu if fine, and i dont think that tthe cpu overheat, but i a not sure...
And i dont know why its flashing(led) and it dont let me both ,just if i uplung it and plug in again... but i dont think superflower is low qualyti...

The first 2 test in prime... each of them 1+h.. and for 3.6 1.35 is enought for prime95... its dont fail...
but in 3dmark,it fail in 10min... And if i lowe my cpu clock to 3.2 and raise my gpu clock to 920/2220 its fail again... Ram cannt be a problem on stock right?w what can be the problem.. Btw.. if i run just prime 3.6 is stable, 3,8 isn because i usethe stock cooling and temp1 is going to 58-59 range...

Most of the time its small fft.. but sometime i run large too... but i think that in both 20+min w/o problem, and then in 3d mark it fail... :/ my gpu isnt the problem for sure... i tested it with athlon and itworked on higher frequenci too... Can some component overheat, that cause the shut down? because i know that the mobo isnt an overclocker..

Do me a favor lower your gpu clock down to like 600 mhz and lower the voltage to and run 3d mark we will see if your psu is not supplying enough power to your video card

I will try it tommorow, i am not home now,so i cant do it right now.. but i just dont thing that the gpu is the problem,I already used it in higher clocks with the same psu... but then i used it with m2n e asus mobo and athlon x4 630... now i have new mobo, cpu and ram,but gpu/psu is the same.. anyway i will try it..

Oh i from some post i think that some of you missunderstanded me.. ow on 3.2ghz cpu and gpu 890/2150 its run just fine... but in higher cpu clock it crash... i dont need to increase the vcore to reach 3.6with cpu and it crash... If i keep 3.2 and increase gpu clocks to max stable(so far) again crash... ram speed is stock, tommorow i will chack the brand too... its 1333mhz ddr3... when i run heaven benchmark it wont crash,i think its because of low cpu usage, but in 3dmark it does, and in some games(i talk abouth 3.6ghz)but if i test just the cpu it wont crash in prime95,so the gpu, its stable in heaven benchmark.. Is there any benchmark that use fully both cpu and gpu asside from 3dmark??

Another question.. If i lower thegpu clocks to stock and oc the the cpu to 3.6 and it fail again it cant b the psu? And something else is the problem? like overheating of something or something like that... Is there anythng that can cause the pc to shut down and isnt gpu and cpu(but i know just temp 1 and not thecores temp)..

To add my nb ,ht frequency and voltage is on auto... so everything in biosis on auto except the cpu vcore and multi.... Maybe there is a problem?? How should i change them?
