So I read on the forums that for the AMD 5800k because it has GPU the ram on the cpu is shared. So I should get the fastest ram I can.

I did some research and found this site:

They were able to get a CAS of 6-7-7-7 at DDR3-1600 (which is no overlock right? everything above 1600 is OC'ed?) I wanted to acheive that as well. This would be best for me right? Can you please help me acheive this CAS with no overclocking.

I hear AMD has it's own memory, would this be better suited? They say if paired with A10 it has real performance boost, is this just advertising? http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/radeon-memory/Pages/system-memory.aspx#4

Thanks

No, they are simply made at that frequency like all the other rams manufactured at other frequencies. Well , of course, if you had 1333 Mhz ram and wanted to get to 1866 you have to overclock it, but not in case if your ram is working on this frequency from the start.
