I need help configuring the following, cable modem hardwired to a linksys modem that will split the signal. One port hardwired to a computer, the other port hardwired to a netgear router that will act as a wireless access point. If this even possible?

In networking, the best solution is always with the fewest points between A (internet connection) and B (your computer). The more routers, modems, etc. that need to be passed through from A > B means more problems or conflicts.

My top answers would be
1) simple, replace the Linksys with the Netgear, now you have wireless and has 'ports' for any wired connections anyway.
2) Why not just replace all the stuff with a single cable modem / wireless router from either Linksys or Netgear to simplify it even more.
