Hi, i want to buy a new graphics card for my system and after a lot of concideration i came up with 7970 and 670. I am from Greece and they both are at the same price. I want to play mostly strategy games and especially Rome Total War II but since i am willing to spend a lot of money, i want to be able to play at least all the new games in very good graphics... Which one of these two do you recomend? I will play on a 1080p monitor and i may also oc a little.. Thank you in advance!

yeah you can go with any one of those. they both are great but if you are planing to use more than one monitor so i would suggest 7970 bcz its 3gb of Vram.

Both are overkill on a single 1080p monitor for RTS games, which are generally CPU-bound.

The 7970 outperforms the 670 in most scenarios. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/508?vs=598

+1 rts you want a fast intel cpu like an i5 3570. gpu you can get away with something less like a 7870 or gtx660, but a 7970 or gtx670 would be fine also. but the CPU is key for rts.
