Hi Guys,

So i just ordered all my parts for my first gaming build, hopefully they'll arrive in the next 3 days. So putting the physical parts together seems pretty straight forward. Im wondering what happens next? After my PC is assembled what is the process of installing all the software and stuff. Is it complicated??

Thanks Guys

Jordan

Simple, after you are done putting it together, for windows insert windows disc, make sure the primary boot when first starting hte computer in bios is set to your cd drive, and follow the instructions on installing windows. After it has finished installing you'll want to go back into your bios and then switch the primary drive back to your hard drive and that is about it. As for linux it's basically the same process.

basically, it's your choice as long as you get a 64bit operating system. Do you like the "sleaker" look of Win 8 or what i think the best thing to come by since windows XP, in windows 7. Now mind you there are still issues with win 8 with some applications, which they have been trying to fix but still having issues, but they said the new update coming in June-July (Windows 8.1) might address most of them. So again, comes down to your personal preferences lol.
