Should I overclock it if I'm going to be playin some high intensity games, crysis 3 for example, I just want it to be able to play new releases well.

Yes, your system will bottleneck somewhere no-matter what you get. Buy a GTX Titan and use a i3 Processor you have a bottleneck. Buy a Titan and i Intel i7 Black Edition, well, those two match good but then your internet or your HDD will hurt you. No-matter what you will have a bottleneck just do the best you can matching up components to where the work the best together. Also get a K series processor if your getting one and OC it to the MAX.

Sincerely,
Casey

In almost all cases; no. Your CPU will not bottleneck your GPU.

Yes you can overclock both the Titan and i5-3570K quite a bit. Yes they will yield performance and gaming benefits; moreso noticeable on the GPU.

If your OCing above 4.0GHz turn off turbo and speedstep, who wants your FPS jumping all over the place because you CPU is constantly turning up and down.

Don't listen to this guy. Speed Step will not make your FPS jump around.

Thanks for all the answers, I'm not sure whether I am going to be upgrading to a Titan anytime soon, but I'm considering upgrading my cpu cooler to a Noctua NH-D14 (which looks to be a popular option on these forums) and oc'ing to about 4.2-4.3 GHz
There isn't any option to get other CPUs btw, I already have the 3570K.
