FX 8350 vs i5 3570 gaming AND rendering

Which option would you guys recommend with Gigabyte Gtx 660 OC. Will use for rendering and gaming. Want to play all the most demanding games on high settings in future for 3 years and have super fast rendering, architecture workstation

Points to consider:
Future proof 3-4 years
Do I need to get 3570 for 660 OC for games or FX 8350 will be enough without bottlendcking?
Will I have to buy new motherboard for fax 8350 after 3 years if I would want to update?
Value?

For rendering the FX-8350 is far superior to the i5.

For current games the FX-8350 is close to the i5.

For future games all the triple-A game developers recommend the FX-8350 as the best cpu

An additional advantage of using a FX8350 is that you can upgrade to AMD steamroller, because the future AMD chip is backward compatible with AM3+ mobos. However, for upgrading from an i5 to future Intel Haswell you will need a new mobo and maybe a new PSU!

get the 8350, oc it and save money. don't waste your money on intel unless you're going for x99 chipset (my next build as you can upgrade to 18 cores and 36 thread) @@
