First question, which Optiplex you have, check the picture below and identify

Second, what is the purpose of this card? Gaming or engineering of some kind?

Third, not so many cards can physically fit in Optiplex, but this answers depends on your identification.

I have the smaller one on the left for small business. My intention was to use it for web design. Also, in the pass I had problems finding a small enough video card that fits. As you already know, that there's a special video card for the optiplex 380 towers.

This was OP answer in PM, so OP has Optiplex 380 SFF. Problem here is that only low profile card can fit insode, there is one PCIE slot and Dell have proven to have problems when trying to use regular PCI (non E) slots for video cards, so unfortunately, I don't see the way to support more than 3 monitors.

I think I saw somewhere possibility to attach 2 monitors to one DVI connector, but I am not sure about this.

So, with Sapphire 7750 you are guaranteed to get 3 monitor support, hopefully your monitors can support wide variety of connections.
