Hey All!

I'm currently selecting the components for my new PC build. It's going to be a mini-itx system in the BitFenix Prodigy case. I have all the parts picked out except for the power supply.

Case: BitFenix Prodigy 'Cheetah'
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77N-WIFI
Cpu: i5 3570K
Memory: Avexir MPower Red Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz
GPU: Sapphire 7970 Vapour-X Ghz Edition 3gb
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
Optical Drive: LiteOn IHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer
Power Supply: ???

As it's my first time building a mini system and from hearing the difficulties people have with power supplies and this case I was hoping someone could help me out here so I don't buy something that's either too big or won't be able to power my system!

Thank you very much for your time and help!

Your video card can draw up to 300 watts, and the CPU can get over 100 pretty quick with overclocking, so you're not going to want less than about 600w on the PSU. A modular power supply is highly recommended for a case that small, since you're tight on space.

Thanks for the quick response!
Have you got any recommendations? I won't be doing any overclocking btw.
