Well let me start by saying, that I previously overclocked my GPU without any idea of what I was doing. I had done a bit of research and decided to go ahead and overclock my GPU, but then the case was getting really hot, and I was scared that it was going to explode or something, so and when I turned the fan and the GPU back to normal settings, nothing was happening the case was still really hot. Now I want to overclock my Intel Core i5 760 (@2.80Ghz). I use the computer a lot. When I say a lot I mean, all day when I am at home. And speed of the computer is crucial to me, and yet it has started to go all slow and laggy to me lately. If the overclock damages my CPU after a year, I am fine with it. I just want to know the risks, and if it is actually worth it, because a lot of my friends say it helps a lot.
Thanks.
Thanks.
