Thinking about upgraging my graphics card. Any tips?

I want to upgrade my card, I currently have a GTX 560ti. I want to take advantage of the Free Metro Last Light game deal with a purchase of any GTX 660 or above... I have about 1000 buck to play with but that will include me getting a new monitor also, maybe ram or psu too....

i5 - 760 2.80ghz
Gigabyte P55A-UD3
EVGA GTX 560ti
PSU Corsair vx550watt
Seagate Barracuda 500gb 7200rpm
4gb ram
Windows 7

any thoughts on a monitor too? I have a asus 21in right now, not very high end..

I recommend you to wait till gtx 700 series come out in about a month. By the time price of 600 series will drop even more and save you lots of money, or you may consider buying a 700 series card.

About the monitor, it's about personal preference, for some games a larger display makes you have no clue what's happening. And bigger monitor usually means higher resolution, heavier burden for card.

I could wait, but then I would miss the Metro last light deal. Which is not that big of a deal I guess....

Take the Gtx660 or 680 if you want. 4gb ram is good to go but if you wanna to more extreme , you can go to 8gb.
Monitor , i would suggest taking Samsung or Asus

Go with 770 and 2x4 ram (if you cant than just another 4 one)
