m3a32-mvp Deluxe graphic card advice

Hi I have a M3A32-MVP deluxe Asus motherboard and recently my Graphics card (Radeon™ HD 4870 x2) died, and I was looking to replace it however my motherboard is roughly 5 years old now and I am not sure if recent graphics cards will work with it or not. I was looking at the Radeon™ HD 7790, though I am open to ideas for graphics cards (£100 price range roughly for hardcore gaming)
