Forum Live Feed table no longer showing on Tom's homepage

I am at work and I am stuck with IE8. I have accessed Tom's many times and the Live Forum section on the homepage is how I find my questions to comment on. I was on the homepage and everything looked normal. After a refresh I still have the title bar in black instead of red, and the navigation bar immediately below it (the previous 1 2 3 4 blocks then next). For the next two hours I have tried everything I know like deleting cache, checking if a cookie is blocked, reading the source of the page, but nothing seems to fix it.

It is like I minimized the table but I see no indicator to bring it back.

Realize I am not an administrator here so suggestions to upload a newer or different browser are not helpful.

Ideas?

And now 5 hrs later it is just back. Was it a page update?
